ANC Fuel Tax Heist: Same Oil Prices as 2012, DOUBLE the Blood Money at the Pump – While Angola Laughs at Us with Dirt-Cheap Fuel!

ENOUGH! South Africans are being systematically raped at the petrol pump by a thieving ANC regime that has turned every liter of fuel into a weapon against the productive, tax-paying citizens who built this country.

ANC Fuel Tax Heist: Same Oil Prices as 2012, DOUBLE the Blood Money at the Pump – While Angola Laughs at Us with Dirt-Cheap Fuel!

While Brent Crude trades at virtually the EXACT same levels as 2012-2013, you're being fleeced for MORE THAN DOUBLE what you paid over a decade ago. This isn't "global markets." This is deliberate, predatory looting by a corrupt, incompetent, Marxist cabal that laughs in your face while filling their offshore accounts. The comrades aren't just failing – they're actively sabotaging the nation to fund their parasitic lifestyles!

And now this humiliation: Just across the border in Angola, petrol is R5.50 a litre and diesel R7.30. Here in South Africa? R26.63 for 95 petrol and over R32 for diesel after the latest hikes. A 50-litre tank costs Angolans R280. In SA? Over R1,300. Electricity? 16 TIMES cheaper in Angola (R0.28 per unit vs our R4.52). The same usage that hits you with a R2,700 Eskom bill would cost them just R170.

Angola subsidises fuel and power for their people because they actually produce oil and have resources. We have Sasol, coal reserves, refineries, and endless potential – yet the ANC chooses to tax us into oblivion while cadres loot everything. This is a national disgrace!

Look at the criminal numbers and rage: Oil around $110-113 a barrel then and now. Inland petrol? R11-13 per litre in 2012. Today in 2026? R23-R26+ and climbing once their fake "temporary relief" scam expires. Out of every single litre, the ANC grabs R5.50 to R6.50+ in pure extortion: bloated General Fuel Levy, the utterly dysfunctional Road Accident Fund levy that's exploded over 400%, sneaky carbon taxes, and VAT piled on like salt in the wound. Nearly HALF your tank goes straight into Pretoria's black hole of cadre deployment, SOE bailouts, tenders to cronies, and endless "consultants." They call it "revenue." Patriots call it HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

This is economic treason. Every time oil spikes on headlines (Iran, shipping, whatever), the ANC uses it as cover to hike taxes even higher. Temporary cuts? Cheap electioneering theatre – they snatch it back the moment you look away. None of that money ever fixed the roads, secured fuel supply, or sorted the RAF disaster. It vanishes into the same rotten system that delivered load-shedding, collapsing infrastructure, and state capture on an industrial scale. The ANC didn't inherit vulnerability – they CREATED it through corruption, cadre sabotage of PetroSA and refineries, and a deliberate refusal to unleash real energy production.

Hardworking farmers, truckers, Uber drivers, families, and pensioners are being crushed twice: first when they fill the tank, second when that money funds the very incompetence destroying their lives. This isn't governance – it's organised economic warfare against the productive majority!

Real Solutions – Time to Gut This Parasitic Tax Machine:

  1. Slash Fuel Levies IMMEDIATELY by 50-70% – Drop the General Fuel Levy to bare minimum or eliminate non-essential portions. No more using motorists as ATMs for ANC failures. Match or beat real subsidies where possible without bankrupting the fiscus.

  2. Abolish or Radically Reform the RAF – Privatise accident compensation or tie it strictly to usage with real accountability. End the R2+ levy black hole that's been "under review" for decades while bleeding citizens dry.

  3. Full Deregulation of the Energy Sector – Remove ANC red tape. Allow private refineries, imports, and competition. Stop protecting failing SOEs. Import cheap Angolan fuel if needed while we fix our own mess.

  4. Privatise PetroSA, Refineries, and Eskom Assets – Sell them to competent operators. End cadre looting. Secure supply through real investment, not political deployment.

  5. Massive Tax Cuts and Spending Axe – Cut overall government expenditure ruthlessly. Stop bailing out corrupt entities. Ring-fence any remaining fuel taxes EXCLUSIVELY for roads and safety – with public audits and zero diversion.

  6. Unleash Local Energy Power – Fast-track coal, gas, new-generation nuclear, and Sasol expansion. Open exploration and production to private capital. Reject green virtue-signalling that makes us dependent on volatile imports.

  7. Zero Tolerance on Corruption – Forensic audits of every fuel tax rand spent over the last 15 years. Prosecute the looters. Real leadership that puts South African citizens FIRST – not enriching cadres while Angola shows us up.

The oil price didn't betray South Africa – the ANC did, with glee. Their endless excuses about "geopolitics" and "international forces" are lies to mask their greed and ideological hatred of free enterprise. This is class warfare against the working and middle class by a failing elite.

South Africans – feel the rage next time you fill up or open that Eskom bill. This is your money, your future, your country being stolen while neighbours with oil laugh at our self-inflicted misery. Reject the looters. Demand these policies now. Support parties and leaders who will slash taxes, deregulate, and put citizens before cadres. The 2026 elections are coming – make it a reckoning.

The productive, law-abiding backbone of this nation has had ENOUGH of this ANC tax trap. Time to fight back hard and take our economy back from these economic terrorists. Fill up, get furious, and get organised. South Africa deserves far better!
