I came across a striking observation today:
- 500 million Europeans depend on 300 million Americans to protect them against 170 million Russians.
- 2 billion Muslims live in fear of 7 million Jews in Israel — and openly call for their destruction.
- Here in South Africa, 55 million Black South Africans fear 4.5 million Whites… and have passed 144 laws targeting them.
The world has truly gone mad.
Meanwhile, the 1.4 billion Chinese sit quietly on the sidelines, watching and talking in every direction. History reminds us that China rarely starts wars — they prefer to let others bleed.
The dangerous chess match between the USA and Iran continues. One day the mullahs want to negotiate, the next they don’t. Inside Iran, the religious leaders are fighting among themselves, issuing contradictory orders while the country slowly bleeds economically. No money is coming in.
The war in Ukraine drags on with no clear end in sight. Last week North Korea tested a barrage of missiles — just another spark in an already volatile world.
Back home in South Africa…
While the country prepares for the upcoming municipal elections (expected late this year or early next), the fragile three-party ANC alliance is starting to crack.
ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula openly threatened this week to remove anyone in the alliance who doesn’t toe the ANC line. If Cosatu walks out, the ANC is finished.
The EFF faces its own crisis: Julius Malema is the EFF. Without him, what remains? MK Party is also battling serious leadership questions. Jacob Zuma is fading from the scene — who will take over?
President Cyril Ramaphosa is still haunted by the Phala Phala scandal. A long queue of ambitious successors waits in the wings, each with their own skeletons. Ramaphosa himself appears to be eyeing a bigger international role — possibly at the United Nations.
Even the police leadership is in total disarray — almost everyone from the Minister down to the National Commissioner is suspended, leaving only “acting” officials in charge.
A Perfect Storm is Brewing
This is a dangerous moment in history. One wrong move by any major world leader could send the entire global political system tumbling. And whatever happens out there will wash straight over South Africa’s borders.
Big chaos is coming. You don’t need to be a prophet to see it.
Hold tight.
The pieces are starting to fall into place.
